Acrylic varnishes increase resistance to the effects of weather, soiling and mechanical stress, and facilitate cleaning, making them ideal for the finishing treatment of a work. They have excellent adhesive properties, and are non-yellowing, lightfast and age-resistant. A final varnish with one of these can harmonize the surface sheen of a painting.
